About Forth Go
This is the avocational blog of Xan Gregg. It’s part photo-blog, part code-blog.
“FORTH GO” is my license plate, as you can see in the header graphic. I used to be heavily involved in Forth programming, working on a product called MacForth (the first real compiler on the Mac, at a time when all Mac development was cross-compiled from a Lisa) which I later ported to the PowerPC. As for the license plate, “GO FORTH” was already taken, and, besides, Forth is a RPN language so it makes sense to reverse the word order.
For the record, I work in the JMP division of SAS, so take that into consideration when I mention JMP and related products.
